Desiree Driesenaar yes, it is unfortunate that we have been blind on one side in the pursuit of happiness. Some of our first needs were so readily available that as a culture, at least in the USA, we became a bit greedy I think.

Thanks to the hard work of those who came before us, we have been living the good life — but in the process a lot of the skills and preventative global care was ignored.

Strangely- I read that the smog index is down in the L.A. basin since the COVID-19 pandemic has ushered many people into their homes and apartments. I don’t have a citation for this detail so let’s just call it hearsay.

It is a chilling possibility that this is another silver lining that may appear in the wake of the virus.
