Impressive Glitch In The Matrix
Three items appearing to be a set of kitten-shaped statues were plucked from the pile of clutter while cleaning the household coat closet. One of these things is a bookend. Solid brass. But nobody knew where the other two look-a-likes came from. They are made of cheap wood with plastic filler and genuinely stumped my household for a couple of minutes.
After scratching our head confusion we realized that the two copy-cat-objects were actually the legs of a broken display shelf. It was previously used to present a goofy knick-knack and the thing had fallen during a shuffle and had been long forgotten there in the closet.
Mystery solved. But… still… it is so strange that the broken pieces of a random piece of junk matched this cat bookend so well that I wondered if the cat bookends were just a broken shelf too.
I found this shape-similarity to be so bizarre that I had to share it here with you all.
Perhaps the universe is telling me that I should adopt a gang of cats.
Perhaps the universe has unshielded its secret symbol of eternal wealth for me at last. And the symbol is shaped like a modern-art-feline-esque-thing.
Perhaps the bookend is a much higher quality broken shelf and not a cat at all.
Perhaps it is just a really uncanny resemblance with no meaning at all.
Worth the share, either way.
